Eric Nicholson 18 years of experience in mergers and acquisitions, advising clients on more than 100 transactions ranging from $10 million to $2.0 billion in transaction value.  Prior to joining GH&F, he was a senior member of the Mergers and Acquisitions Group at Piper Jaffray.  Prior to that, he practiced corporate law at Dorsey & Whitney in Minneapolis, where he specialized in mergers and acquisitions, public and private securities offerings and venture capital.  Eric’s clients have included 3M, Mattel, TRW and Remmele Engineering.  Buyers and other parties involved in transactions with his clients have included Affiliated Computer Services, Thomson Reuters, WPP Group, Morgenthaler Partners and Torquest Partners.  Eric is a graduate of Carleton College (BA) and the University of Minnesota Law School (JD).  Eric’s wife, Lisa Nicholson, is the founder and CEO of Lisa’s Salsa Company, manufacturer of Salsa Lisa™.
