Bob Dovenberg has 15 years of professional experience in a wide variety of transaction-related fields, including investment banking, venture capital and corporate development. Prior to joining GH&F, Bob spent three years in the Venture Capital group at Dell, Inc. His investments included Altiris (IPO 2002), OSA (acquired by Avocent), Pentasafe (acquired by NetIQ) and Topspin (acquired by Cisco). Bob also held various marketing and corporate development positions at Dell, most recently as a senior marketing manager in Dell’s Software Alliances organization. Prior to Dell, Bob was an investment banker with Piper Jaffray in Minneapolis where he completed over 25 M&A transactions with an aggregate transaction value in excess of $2 billion. Bob is a graduate, with distinction, of the University of Wisconsin – Madison (BBA) and the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business (MBA with Honors).
