Ken Higgins has more than 15 years of M&A and private equity experience as an investment banker, private equity investor and transactional lawyer. Prior to joining GH&F, Ken was a partner with SightLine Partners, a healthcare focused private equity firm. SightLine, together with its predecessor, Piper Jaffray Ventures, made over 45 healthcare investments during Ken’s tenure across the healthcare services and medical technology sectors. Ken has extensive strategic and board level experience, having held 16 board seats and assisted portfolio companies with numerous financing, acquisition and strategic partnering transactions. Previously, Ken led Piper Jaffray’s healthcare services M&A practice, and practiced law at Dorsey & Whitney in Minneapolis and Kirkland & Ellis in Chicago, where he specialized in M&A, public and private securities offerings and leveraged buyouts. Ken is a member of the Cleveland Clinic Foundation Industrial Advisory Board and the Kadent Corp. board of directors. Ken is a graduate of the University of Michigan (BBA), where he was a member of the Big Ten Championship football team. Ken also received his JD from Harvard Law School.
