Michael McGarry has nearly a decade of investment banking and media industry experience. Prior to joining GH&F, he was a senior associate at Veronis Suhler Stevenson, a media-focused investment bank in New York, NY. While at Veronis, he specialized in transactions within the consumer and business-to-business media sectors including work for clients such as Time Inc., Reader’s Digest, Fast Company magazine, PRIMEDIA, and Martha Stewart Omnimedia. More recently, Michael founded and ran Belly DuJour LLC, an email newsletter business focused on food finds and seasonal recipes. Michael is a graduate of Colgate University, a native of Chevy Chase, Maryland, and the author of several food-oriented guidebooks, including Gelato: Finding Italy’s Best Gelaterias.
