Eric Nicholson has over a decade of experience in mergers and acquisitions, advising clients on more than 100 transactions ranging from $10 million to $2.0 billion in transaction value. Prior to joining GH&F, he was a senior member of the Technology Mergers and Acquisitions Group at Piper Jaffray. Prior to that, he practiced corporate law at Dorsey & Whitney in Minneapolis, where he specialized in mergers and acquisitions, public and private securities offerings, venture capital investments and representation of start-up companies. Eric’s clients have included Mattel, TRW, Asyst Technologies, 3M, Intelliquest Information Group and EMCORE. Buyers and other parties involved in transactions with his clients have included The Thomson Corporation, Pearson, Entegris, Agere, Brooks Automation, Softbank, Integrated Device Technology, Affiliated Computer Systems and WPP Group. Eric is a graduate of Carleton College (BA) and the University of Minnesota Law School (JD). Eric’s wife, Lisa Nicholson, is the founder and CEO of Lisa’s Salsa Company, manufacturer of Salsa Lisa™.
